5 reasons to book a private boat tour in st. maarten
Private Boat Tours St. Maarten
Dreaming of turquoise water, hidden coves, and that best-day-ever feeling? Private boat tours in St. Maarten deliver all of that—without the crowds. Here’s why a private charter with Sail The Phoenix turns a good vacation into an unforgettable one.

1. Your Day, Your Way (Custom Itinerary & Pace)
2. Comfort, Space & Privacy—All the Luxuries
On a private charter, the schedule bends to you. Want extra time snorkeling
Little Bay, a slow sail past Simpson Bay, or a front-row view of airplane landings at
Maho Beach (from a safe distance)? Done. Prefer a relaxed lunch stop and swims at
Mullet Bay? Also done.
Why it matters: No rushing, no rigid timelines—just a day designed around your group’s vibe.
Sail The Phoenix is a 62' Privilege sailing catamaran with the kind of lounging space that makes the whole boat feel like a floating living room. Stretch out on the wide bow, gather around the shaded aft table, or cool off in the airy salon. Freshwater rinse, comfortable restrooms, and plenty of shade mean you’ll stay comfy all day.
Why it matters: Real relaxation happens when you have room to breathe (and nap between swims).
3. A Smoother, Safer Experience with a Pro Crew
Our licensed crew knows St. Maarten’s waters inside and out: the calmest routes, the best reef spots, and how to time Maho’s plane action. You’ll get a friendly safety briefing, quality snorkel guidance, and a crew that anticipates what you need before you ask.
Why it matters: Local knowledge = safer, smoother sailing and more time doing the fun stuff.
4. Built-In VIP Moments (Perfect for Celebrations)
Birthdays, proposals, family reunions, wedding parties—you name it. Private boat tours make hosting simple and photogenic. We’ll help you set the tone with great playlists, perfectly chilled drinks, and the best viewpoints for those “this-is-the-life” photos.
Why it matters: Intimate setting + epic scenery = memories your crew will talk about for years.
5. Better Value for Groups—Understand Private Yacht Charter Cost
When you split a private charter across your whole group, the
private yacht charter cost often compares surprisingly well to premium shared tours—especially considering the space, service, and flexibility you gain.
What affects price:
- Duration & route: Half day vs. full day; longer sails cost more.
- Boat size & amenities: Larger luxury catamarans command higher rates.
- Season & day of week: Peak season and holidays can increase pricing.
- Inclusions: Open bar (rum punch and beer vs. full bar), lunch, and water toys
- Special requests: Custom menus, photography, celebration décor, etc.
Pro tip: Ask for a transparent, line-item quote so you know exactly what’s included (fuel, taxes, crew, food/drinks). If you’re searching “boat tour St.Maarten”, compare inclusions—not just sticker price.
What You’ll See on a Private Boat Tour (Sample Highlights)

(Stops may vary with weather and sea conditions. We operate within St. Maarten waters.)
